For this assignment the student had to take 5 panoramic shots. Then select two photos to turn in. Then finally upload them all onto the blog. What I Learned. Before this assignment I had no idea how to make panoramic photos. After doing the assignment I have a good understanding on how the photos should be taken and how to stitch the photos together. Which before this assignment I was unaware that it was a feature in photo shop. Overall, this assignment was very informative.

In this assignment, our class was instructed to choose a category/topic and take at least 50 photos of that topic. I chose "Macro" as my topic.Out of the fifty images, we had to select what we felt was the one best image to turn in. Next, we had to select our top 6 images to post in the blog. You will be able to see those photos below. f/40.0, 1/200, IOS 400, What I LearnedI learned how subtle a person has to be when taking Macro shoots. A person has to be very subtle with their movements so the photo is in focus. Only smallest movements are needed to effect the photo in a negative way. Overall, this project was fun and informative; I would like to learn more techniques for macro photography to improve what I have and what I can do.
For my third photo assignment I have decided to chose the topic of Macro. I am hoping to make interesting looking photos with intriguing subjects. The photos below I will use for inspiration. By Anete Lusina By La Loge...I think
In this assignment the students had to take a photo of the school and change its context in some way like taking a photo of the schools' swimming pool and adding a photo of a shark into the swimming pool in photoshop. My results are below. What I Learned In this assignment I learned how to add images to an original photo make it something else. I also leaned how to add filters to the images like a fog effect. Overall, this assignment was very informative and I learned new ways to use photoshop.
In this assignment the class was given a photo of a car and had to retouch it. The results are below. What I Learned The assignment was very informative. During the assignment I learned how to use the quick select tool and the clone stamp tool. Before this assignment I did not know how to use theses tools so I come out of it knowing how to use photoshop better.
In this assignment, our class was instructed to choose a category/topic and take at least 50 photos of that topic. I chose "Light Painting" as my topic.Out of the fifty images, we had to select what we felt was the one best image to turn in. Next, we had to select our top 6 images to post in the blog. You will be able to see those photos below. F/11.0, 15.0 second exposure, IOS 100 (No editing done) What I Learned I learned that light painting is very technique sensitive. For instance, the camera needed to be placed on a tripod for the long exposures of 15-30 seconds long. The camera shutter was placed on a timer so I could be in position to light paint as soon as the shutter opened. The room had to be completely dark as to not let extraneous light influence the outcome of the image. I had to experiment with different exposures and intensities of the light sources to get acceptable exposures. Although most of my subjects were inanimate objects my human subject had to hold perfectly still as not to create motion blur. I really enjoyed this project and I feel there are many more possibilities with this technique.
For my second photo assignment I have decided to chose the topic of Light Panting. I am hoping to make fun and interesting photos that will help me better understand how to use shutter and aperture settings on my camera. I hope I will be able to show my creativity through the photographs taken. The photos below I will use for inspiration. By Jannis Sid By Ryan Moats By No Name stated (Web Design Library)
In this assignment, our class was instructed to choose a category/topic and take at least 50 photos of that topic. I chose "Animal" as my topic. Out of the fifty images, we had to select what we felt was the one best image to turn in. Next, we had to select our top 10 images to post in the blog. You will be able to see those photos below. Best Photof/1.4, 1/80, IOS 800 (No editing or cropping on this image other than converting from RAW to JPEG) What I Learned With this assignment, I learned the difficulty of the editing process. I had to to look critically at my images and choose the best ones to feature in my blog. I learned how to combine compositional elements to enhance visual interest of my subjects. For instance, my first photo combines framing, depth of field and rule of thirds to draw the viewer to the cat. I learned how to use an extremely shallow depth of field (f/1.4) to draw the viewers' attention to the eyes of the cats. I learned how difficult it is to photograph animals as they tend to move around a lot which added to the difficulty of my compositions. When the subjects stood still they made amazing models. I found it difficult to select which images to feature in my blog as I liked so many of them. I would say this was a great start on the weekly photo assignments.
In this assignment We had to take a photo from photo booth and use photoshop to make four layers of the same photo on a canvas background with each of the photos a different color. After the first one we were had to make a second pop art photo and be creative with it. What I learned This was a fun assignment that taught me how to use photoshop. Before this assignment I did not know how to use photoshop properly but now I know how to make layers, sharpen/unsharp, and how to colorize a photo in photoshop. Overall this assignment was very informative.
For my first photo shooting assignment I decided too focus on the topic of ANIMALS. I believe I can make interesting photos with animals as the subject. With different perspectives, shutter speeds, and apertures to capture moments in the daily life of animals. Here are some photos that I have found online that I will use for inspiration.
